I was asked to write a thought leadership/op-ed article for The Drum as it was conducting a deep-dive into the video games industry.
With the meteoric rise of gaming and the multitude of non-endemic brands looking to 'cash-in' on the industry, I wanted to question whether those brands really knew the audience they were targeting and what they were trying to achieve with them, before outlining steps to sincerely break into that market.
